The main features of this product are as follows:-
Cat5e solid core shielded twisted pair, is a high performance cable suitable for use with 10Mbps Ethernet, 100Mbps Ethernet and Token Ring. Use this cable for permanent and semi-permanent installations in cabinets, and flood-wiring of buildings. Not suitable for making flexible patch leads. Each cable consists of 8 colour coded 24awg polyethylene insulated conductors. These are twisted together to form 4 pairs. These pairs are wrapped in an aluminium Mylar tape screen with a drain wire.
